Superb Late 19th Century Oil on Canvas Under Glass

51 cm x 30 cm canvas size

Superb oil of a boat full on men - not sure if this is a ships lifeboat as they are baling water.

The canvas is perfect as its under glass

The frame needs a little work but is fully useable and has period shell moulding decoration

Interestingly the canvas  appears to be that of a art school in London as can be seen on the photos

Well constructed and painted and the colours are as good as the day they were applied as the glass has protected the piece.
