It's really frustrating when you want to wall mount a flat screen TV or monitor to find that you don't have the correct screw size to hand. To make matters worse, the manufactures more often than not refuse to advise or publish what size you need!
Thankfully there is a confusing standard that most LCD and Plasma screens conform to. Our screw selection pack overcomes this problem, it includes all the thread sizes used for mounting flat screen TVs and Monitors. The lengths provided are based on our many years of experience with more screens and wall mounts than we care to remember. If the rear of your screen has the four fixing points in either a square or rectangle pattern then this is what you need (If you are unsure take a clear picture of the rear of your screen and email it to us).
The kit contains four of each of the following screws:
- M4x10 (4mm Thread, 10mm Long)
- M5x20 (5mm Thread, 20mm Long)
- M6x20 (6mm Thread, 20mm Long)
- M8x20 (8mm Thread, 20mm Long)
For installation you will require a pozi drive (cross head) screwdriver of appropriate size, most basic toolkits are suitable for this task. Ensure you have a clear working area and cover with a soft material to prevent damage to the screen or bezel. When you remove the pedestal stand, be sure to retain along with the screws for future use, it's rather expensive to replace them!
