Up for your consideration is a group of 24 metal engravers printing plates that date from the late 1940's through the late 1950's. Probably from a publication like "Successful Farming". They are from a film house/printer called Collins, Miller and Hutchings. They are all of small, humorous editiorial pieces of line art. Some feature a farmer by himself, some with another farmer - and some with a farmer and his wife. Most are in good, clean condition, but some do show minor corrosion (which will most likely scour off) or minor pitting. The 4 or 5 close-ups included give a good indication of range of condition. We will be selling approximately 15 lots of 20 pieces each and you can examine the pictures for the details of the engraving plates. Sizes range on average from 2.25"x3" to 2.75"x4".
