This is a magnificent WMF ART NOUVEAU Silverplate Daisy Flower Footed Visiting Card Tray, circa 1890. The tray is wonderful decorated with daisy flowers. Original Silver Plate in very good condition. Hallmarked as you can see in the pictures WMF M - I/O - O/X. It measures 36 cm long by 22 cm wide.  We are delighted to have such a rare Art Nouveau WMF collection for sale, please see my other items to combine shipping. An absolute most for collectors!  

WMF is the abbreviation for Württembergische Metallwarenfabrik, which means Württemberg Metal Factory and was created in 1880 in the small town of Geislingen on the river Steige (Geislingen an der Steige), after the successful merger of two smaller silver plate foundries. This company is still active.
