Description

Fantastic Edo Period katana with vintage koshirae and new shirosaya.

Blade is mumei (unsigned) attributed to the Chikuzen Nobukuni school by the Nihon Bijyutsu Token Hozon Kyokai (NBTHK) the Society for the Preservation of the Japan Art Sword.

Blade already has a high quality polish and is in near perfect condition.  It is really beautiful.

Fantastic temper; (Ha) looks like a bright cloud, and Hada keeps very good condition.

The fuchii-kashira and kojiria (the swords fittings) all bare the same makers mark on the top & bottom.

Aged Kizami saya is in very good condition.

Kurikata figire is also wonderful.

Tsukamaki and shirosaya are both fairly recent, so they are also in very good condition.

Tsuba is iron with copper and silver inlay.
