The position of all mountings is described as it would be from the drivers seat. For example, Left Hand mounts are on the Gearbox / passenger side of a Right Hand Drive car.

The Kit contains the following items:
- RH Engine Mount VAG402MX. (Quantity 1) OEM Part Number(s): 1J0199262BF. Direct replacement for the OE mount. This uprated competition mount will reduce engine movement in all directions - giving less stress on exhaust etc and giving the car a tighter feel. It also gives vastly superior comfort and isolation from engine vibration over inferior aftermarket urethane mounts.

- Transmission Mount VAG408MX. (Quantity 1) OEM Part Number(s): 1J0199555AH 1J0199555AJ. Direct replacement for the OE mount. This uprated competition mount will reduce engine movement in all directions - giving less stress on exhaust etc and giving the car a tighter feel. It also gives vastly superior comfort and isolation from engine vibration over inferior aftermarket urethane mounts. Does not fit DSG (dual clutch) gearboxes.

- Torque Link (insert) VAG452MX. (Quantity 1) OEM Part Number(s): 1J0199851AA 1J0199851N 1J0199851M. These inserts are a direct motorsport replacement for the original soft rubbers. To get the ultimate in performance and durability we include the unique feature of bonding the insulator to a billet aluminium support plate. We also include adjustment rubber shims to allow pre-load to be set, tuning the mount to suit different driving levels of performance. This kit will reduce engine movement at the link from over 16mm to less than 3mm with full preload.

- Torque Link Small End Bush VAG455B. (Quantity 1). This part replaces the front bush on the Golf MK4 and 5 dog bone link. It has substantially higher load capacity and stiffness to reduce engine movement whilst the double bonded rubber element still isolates engine vibration. It does not have the inherent weakness (creep and permanent set) of some of the unbonded polyurethane inserts that are available on the market. We also recommend the bolt be upgraded to the later VAG part number N91167101 which is stronger than the bolts used on earlier cars.

Vibra-Technics products are designed specifically for high performance applications where a direct replacement for the standard mount is required along with a much higher level of engine control to cope with higher engine outputs and higher road inputs caused by fast driving. The Fast Road mounts give significant improvements in ride and handling without adversely affecting vibration isolation. The competition mounts can also eliminate clearance problems with strut braces, exhaust systems, body panels etc. They improve handling whilst still giving vibration isolation at high engine speeds.
Competition mounts are not recommended for road use.
