The position of all mountings is described as it would be from the drivers seat. For example, Left Hand mounts are on the Gearbox / passenger side of a Right Hand Drive car.

The Kit contains the following items:
- Transmission Mount VAG200M. (Quantity 1) OEM Part Number(s): 6Q0 199 555 AD. AE, K. This is a significant upgrade to the OEM gearbox mount. It is suitable for all manual transmissions and retains the original battery box fixing. The mount significantly reduces gearbox movement improving gear shift precision and driver feed back without compromising vibration isolation performance. It is suitable for all petrol engine applications including the 1.8T and 1.4 TSI. It is also compatible with the DSG gearbox.

- RH Engine Mount VAG210M. (Quantity 1) OEM Part Number(s): 6Q0 199 167 DK, CE, CS, BM, BN, CA, BC, CB, CC, CD. This right hand side mount is a direct replacement for the OEM hydraulic engine mount. Designed to complement the other two Vibra-Technics mounts it significantly reduces engine movement and is much stronger than the OEM part making it ideal for high performance road car and track applications. It is also a cost effective and more durable alternative to the OEM hydraulic mount on a standard road car. Application note: This mount has been tested on diesel engine applications. As these engines have much higher levels of inherent vibration there may be a slight increase in noticeable vibration at idle speed.

- Torque Link VAG220M. (Quantity 1) OEM Part Number(s): 6Q0 199 851 AJ, AS, AL, AN. This is a complete torque link (not an insert) and has been developed from our previous version to give significantly improved vibration isolation performance over its predecessor. This link has been proven to reduce transmission movement and is particularly effective on the 1.8T and 1.4TSI applications where it gives significantly improved feedback to the driver without increased harshness. The link has been tested on diesel applications but due to the inherent vibration characteristics of the diesel engine there may be an increase in transmitted vibration at low engine speeds.

They are not hard versions of standard parts but a completely re-engineered solution, giving improved durability and handling for both road cars and competition cars requiring rubber bushed suspension.

Vibratechnics Uprated Engine Mounts

Vibra-Technics products are designed specifically for high performance applications where a direct replacement for the standard mount is required along with a much higher level of engine control to cope with higher engine outputs and higher road inputs caused by fast driving. The Fast Road mounts give significant improvements in ride and handling without adversely affecting vibration isolation. The competition mounts can also eliminate clearance problems with strut braces, exhaust systems, body panels etc. They improve handling whilst still giving vibration isolation at high engine speeds.
Competition mounts are not recommended for road use.

Vibra-Technics have developed a small range of suspension bushes which are designed to significantly reduce the suspension geometry changes resulting from acceleration, braking and cornering forces. This gives improvements in the car stability and cornering "feel" without limiting normal suspension travel.
