Your target simply slides into the slits on the uprights.

Use for target practise or to check the zero on your gun when in the field - or just use in the garden to hold your target (ideal for putting thin cardboard into as well if you make your own targets. The picture shows the stand fully extended with the ground spikes stuck in the grass and another on  its' base (the spikes fold into the base).  You choose how to use it.
