This listing is for an Outstanding Set of 12 Pairs of Antique Glass Door Knobs, 26 Cast Brass Escutcheons, 21 Cast Brass Key Hole Covers, 3 Large Stamped Brass Key Hole Covers, and All the Antique Brass Screws to go with them. This is an original whole house set! I know most people have not spent as much time with old knobs as I have, and I can tell you that these knobs are not just your run of the mill antique glass door knobs. They have a lot of qualities that make them superior to your standard knobs. First, what is rare about this set is the size and shape of the knobs varies for different functions. The knobs with a chrome plated brass finish were used for the bathrooms. The smaller cut crystal knobs for the interior side of bedroom doors, and the large circular and octagonal knobs for the more prominent areas of the house. Second, the collars for the glass knobs are solid cast brass, not just a thin layer of brass that covers a steel housing.  The escutcheons and the key hole covers are solid cast brass (not stamped) with again some variation depending on which room they were used for. Most are a bit over 2" in diameter. Five of the knobs are smaller and have a cut glass star. One of the large knobs was a replacement, but it features the same quality construction, and has a floral mercury bullet at the base of the glass knob. Two of the knobs are chrome plated brass. These would be used as the bathroom sets. One has lost most of the chrome finish, and was missing the original pin for the spindle, so I made a hammered copper pin to put in its place. Some of the escutcheons are 2 inches in diameter and have a beaded border. Most of the escutcheons are 2-1/8 inches in diameter. Four of the escutcheons are high quality stamped brass replacements, a couple of which have chrome plating. I added these for the sake of completeness, and an extra so you can choose which one you think works best. They all fit properly on the base of the door knobs. Most of the key hole covers measure 2 inches x 7/8 inches. Three are replacements that are larger. These knobs have been refurbished, including paint removal and a light polishing. The knobs are all clear and tight on the collar. All the set screws work, and the knobs are easily removed from the spindle (except for the smaller cut glass knobs that are pinned to the spindle). These are antique so there is some wear including some scratches and very small chips, but overall they are in excellent condition. I will include all the antique brass screws necessary plus some extras.
