12-in-1 Marble Mold with a Handle

All surfaces are machined 1-15/16" to 2" x 4-1/8 x 4-1/8", overall length including the handle approximately 12" long.
1/4" Diameter increments on one side and 1/8" Diameter increments on the other side.
The 3D cavities are extremely difficult to give accurate measurements.
Marble sizes on one side 3/8", 5/8", 7/8", 1-1/8", 1-3/8" and 1-5/8". Opposite side is 1/2", 3/4", 1", 1-1/4", 1-1/2" and 1-3/4".

The handle is a cast polyurethane handle bonded to a threaded rod running the length of the handle. We added a 2" long piece of porous carbon insulator sleeve at the bottom of the handle to reduce the heat transfer from the graphite. The threaded rod runs through the mold and is secured in place with flat washers, lock washers and nuts from both sides to prevent it from turning. The handle makes it nice for flipping the graphite to use the marble cavities on the other side, without getting your hands dirty by touching the graphite.

I am allowing each machinist to take the liberty of engraving their initials, signature or symbols on the side (non-functional part of the mold). Our people take great pride in their work and our normal machining jobs don't allow that to take place. But they are true crafts people at what they do and when you see the quality of their work I'm sure you will agree. Great for glass blowing, molds, and precious metals molds, etc. Graphite is easy to machine, but very dirty and abrasive to tools and machines. Graphite uniquely withstands great temperatures as well.
