One of the most common applications for wall decals is on painted walls. In addition to wall surfaces, you can apply decals to any dry, non-pourous, smooth surface such as; wood, metal, refrigerator doors, plastic, and glass. The only thing vinyl will not adhere to is surfaces painted with satin/gloss or VOC free paints. These have matting agents that float to the surface and can cause interference with adhesion.
