These earrings were inspired by a book I read as a child called "The Dot and the Line- A Romance in Higher Mathematics."  about a line who falls in love with a dot, who is in love with a squiggle.   It is the story of how the line becomes the best he can be and wins the dot's love.  That is how I remembered it.

When I bought the book recently to read to my niece I was surprised to realize it is all mathematical puns- hilarious for adults as well as children.  My mother was here as I was reading it. She could not stop laughing either and asked about the author.  We were both surprised, she went to school with the author, Norton Juster.  Get the book if you can, or check out the video on YouTube (Sorry - not allowed to post the link here).

This design is a minimalist reminder about an important step to happiness.  To be happy, it is essential to be the best we can be, and true to ourselves.  With that self understanding that we are giving it our best, we can forgive ourselves when we fall short.  Most important, we let go of worrying about what others think of us. We set ourselves free.

Available in white or yellow gold, platinum, sterling and plate options.  With or without diamonds.  And now in necklaces. too.  There is even a dot ring that coordinates.  If you want the whole set I'll give you bigger discounts.

The earrings have approximately 20 Pts G-VS diamonds.

If you want something not listed here, a different color, karat, metal, stone, etc. just let me know and I'll make it for you.  I am just an artist, a one person company, and can't post everything everywhere.
