Organic Cumin Seeds

Ingredients: Organic Cumin Seeds

Origin: Turkey

Organic Cumin Seed is a wonderfully fragrant spice.

Organic Cumin Seed is the most commonly used spice in the world after black pepper.  If you are already a cumin fan then this won't come as a surprise to you, because cumin is seriously tasty and wonderfully versatile.  If you want a smoother texture to combine in sauces and dips try our organic ground cumin.

This popular spice is used across the globe and is well known for its use in Mexican, Indian and Middle-Eastern dishes.  Originally Cumin Seed was native to Egypt and it still holds cultural significance there.

Cumin is nutritious as well as delicious, it has high levels of a range of important nutrients including thiamin (B1), iron, calcium and manganese.  If you haven't tried using cumin then making fragrant vegetable curry is a great place to start.
