We'll be featuring a couple of our costume "Kilts", and by costume, we mean that we very often put together regular clothing items with added accessories to make a specific look. In this case we have used a vintage, all wool, pleated, plaid skirt, (from the 50's-60's), and added a sash and hat to make a man's kilt costume. (We forgot the sash in the photo.) I've labeled this unisex because a woman can wear this also, and the fact that it's a small size. The skirt has 2 leather, buckled tab on either side which give the waist an extra 2". The tabs may need to be replaced eventually, they're getting brittle. Waist-28"- 30" Length-27" We've added a sash of the same plaid, but a wool blend, so you will notice a slight difference. The sash is 66" in length. The hat is the classic Glengarry hat that was covered with the same fabric as the sash. The hat measures 21". Add your own shirt or blouse for a great St. Pat's Day costume. The wool skirt is Dry Clean only.
