A lovely hand blown liqueur set consisting of one demi carafe and 5 small shot glasses, was most likely made by George Sand and dates to the late 19th to early 20th century. This set was most likely part of something larger but extremely difficult to find complete or unscathed. This dimunitive carafe measures 7 1/2 inches high x 4 inches wide and the cups 2 1/4 x 1 1/2. Condition is good for age and type with the glass stopper having a small chip of no consequence as it will be concealed within the bottle. Some minor imperfections within the hand blown glass....nothing serious or offensive. A wonderful after dinner service extremely decorative and useful too.
