Fitt-Rites HBR 400 hinge set is a 4 sealed bearing, adjustable gap, heavy duty gate hinge capable of supporting gates up to 2800 pounds. The package includes a pair of hinges. The hinge gap ranges from 3 3/8 to 4 1/2". It swings over 180 degrees. The hinge is zinc plated. The HBR 400 is preferred by installers of gate operators because the precision hinges allow the gate to swing with minimal resistance, extending the gate operators life. The adjustability of the hinges allows the installer to remove the sag out of the gate, bringing the gate back up to level. Complete installation instructions are included in each box. It is important that the proper welding equipment and procedures be used to ensure a strong weld. This hinge is an all steel construction and can be easily welded with both wire feed welders and stick type welders. The HBR-400 has been in production since 2001 and until now has only been available to professional fence installers and manufacturers of commercial fence.
