Pair of Rare  Doulton Burslem

These vases are very rare examples  in cobalt blue with gilt foliage and scrolling sinuous organic handles

Designed by renowned designer Robert Allen

One vase has the RA and design number and the other just the Doulton Burslem stamp

They are a pair although some of the raised gilt work looks hand applied so slightly different on the raised scrolling areas

Very sought after pieces and rare as a pair

Condition

Both are in excellent condition  for age with no chips hairlines or restoration

Very slight ageing on the gilt but no rubs at all
