There’s no doubt that these mouthpieces are perfect for getting started on a brass instrument and the cost saving makes them great value for money. The price of premium brand mouthpieces has increased considerably in recent years with a Denis Wick 4B cornet mouthpiece now over £40 and a Vincent Bach 24AW tuba over £80!
Whilst advanced / professional players will probably feel it worthwhile paying these higher prices, in my opinion it makes no sense to do so for a beginner. The Sonata mouthpieces are more than capable of supporting a player's early development without breaking the bank.

I don't know for sure but this may help. The end of the shank that goes into the receiver is approx 11.2mm external diameter, and the shank tapers out to 12.7mm at its widest point. If it doesn't fit just return in the original packaging for a full refund
