Glass End of Day Ware c.1840 

This decorative piece was made as an ornament by an artisan glass blower at the end of the working day to use up the spare glass. This enabled creative pieces to be made such as this item  which has a clear hollow blown bobbin stem and a cranberry bowl attatched to it with white caulking.

Condition report:
This delicate piece is in very good condition with just a few tiny nibbles to the edge of the bowl. Please inspect the photographs closely to assess the condition and quality of this unusual piece.
