Railroad run-bys, pacing, chasing all in 1990. There's lots of bright video from all seasons and good audio of horns, engines, jointed rail, etc. What you don't see is also interesting; no ditch lights for instance or people on cell phones. This was dubbed from VHS (the 1990 Master-1st generation) to Windows Movie Maker and the video and audio was newly edited as such that I couldn't do on VHS years ago. The whole 1 hour and 18 minutes was saved as a 14 GB AVI file and burned in Window DVD Maker.

CNW- Southern Lee County, Illinois northbound on SI line CNW- Nelson, Illinois- 2 westbounds meet on the main by coaling tower CNW- Nelson winter snowstorm- only 1 interlocking (crossover) is free from ice etc- 3 trains each wait their turn and then proceed. CNW- Nelson business train w/ GP50 sequence- thru wye and highballs back to Chicago CNW- wb coal train on control siding pulls under coaling tower w/new (in 1990 and to this trackside observer) GE # 8509 CNW- Dixon, Illinois local job working industrial park (Warps Flex-O- Glass) then shoves to cement plant (street running). Pacing from my sunroof along River Street (this branch is gone) CNW- Dixon job along river on a Sunday (branch is gone) CNW- Sterling Il on Rock River "land bridge" CNW- many Soo Line detours (w/SOO cabooses) thru Nelson. Soo Line- chase sequence- eb from rural Northern Illinois into Bensenville (Yard), Illinois- A new SD60 in red paint is along street access. Soo- chasing eb from Sabula, Iowa (on Mississippi) thru nw Illinois Soo- distance scene at Kettridge Siding rural Illinois Soo- pacing wb along Highway 72 between Leaf River and to near Forreston, Illinois Soo- chasing & pacing wb from Clinton IA down to Davenport, IA (Nahant yard) Great pacing scenes along Mississippi w/ Southern Pacific caboose Soo- rural Illinois scene near Wacker, Ill Soo- Davis Junction, Ill- switch engine waiting to be picked up Soo Line- long chasing sequence- nb grain train from Sabula to Dubuque, IA- street running through Bellvue, IA- adding engines for run to Mason City Various Soo Line scenes- dusk -winter Soo/BN- Savanna, Il - multiple BN trains at end of double track on south side of yard- some to Chicago on C&I, some south. BN- rural Illinois meet w/ local near Fulton, Il BN- Quad Cities/Davenport IA local w/ caboose BN- Zearing IL on Mendota Sub- freights & Amtrak BN- Mt Morris Il branch- long chase of local leaving printing plant and back to Oregon Il - nice- w/caboose- stops for beans- rural scenes. (this branch is gone or inactive now)

All DVDs are Region0/All (Windows DVD Maker default) and each tested on two consumer grade DVDs before shipping. If it doesn't Load and Play and play the last Scene it gets tossed. DVDs may be sent in jewel case rather than a 5x7" case w/ cover art depending on availability and shipping time. ALL SOO Line has a derailment at Adeline siding, run through (all) SP power, ex-MILW switchers, long pacing sequences along the Mississippi ALL CC&P - 40 minutes of the Chicago Central and Pacific in and around Freeport, IL. Two visits in 1988. All schemes, pacing, yard action and working wigwag! All newly transferred from the Original Master VHS tape!
