  • 4X (Set of 4) CTS Custom Series 500K LONG/split, knurled shaft, audio taper potentiometers. 

    We're are pleased to offer our TAOT CUSTOM pots manufactured by CTS.  These 450S custom series pots are almost identical in construction to CTS's high quality 450G series pots (we made a couple tweaks) made specifically for guitars.  These audio taper pots are suitable for both tone and volume controls. 

    • 500K Ohms/5% Tolerance (485-535K)
    • Audio Taper
    • Bakelite base plate
    • Solid brass c-clip reinforced shaft

    • 3/8-32 US thread
    • 3/4" (long shaft) bushing height

    Pot is manufactured and branded by CTS specifically for The Art Of Tone (TAOT), Part # 450S500KXL TAOT.

  • Two (2) Orange Drop 716P .022uf/400v (5% Tolerance) Capacitors 
  • One (1) Switchcraft long straight 3-way toggle switch. Cream colored switch tip included. 
  • One (1) Deep Nut for Switchcraft switch w/Nickel finish. Please see note #3 below regarding nut for switch
  • One (1) Switchcraft #11, 1/4" Mono Jack
  • Five feet vintage-style braided shielded single conductor wire (for wiring switch & jack)
  • Approximately one foot of vintage-style 7-strand, pre-tinned, 22 awg black cloth push back wire (not pictured, for grounding pots if necessary)

Please Note:

1. As a general rule post-1977 production Les Paul's, excluding historic reissue Les Paul's, use long shaft pots.  If you are uncertain whether your guitar uses short (3/8") or long (3/4") shaft  pots, please double check before you order. 
2. All parts in this kit use American not metric sizing.  If you own an imported guitar (e.g. Japan, China, Mexico, etc.) the pots, switch and jack in this kit will not fit your guitar without enlarging the openings.
3. The switchcraft toggle switch comes with a flat nut, depending on the thickness of the body of the guitar (this includes most Les Paul's), you made need the "vintage-style" deep nut, which is also included in this kit.

RETURNS:

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase, you are welcome to return your item.  In order to return your item, you must notify us within 14 days of receipt of the item, and provide the Ebay item #, and date of purchase.  The item must be received back within 30 days of the date of purchase.   In order for us to accept returned item, it MUST be unused and in the same condition it was shipped (this means you have not soldered on lugs, clipped leads, tried to fit a square peg in a round hole, etc.).  For returns over $25.00, a 10% restocking fee will apply.
