Here's a NEW Clutch Master Cylinder for the following models from Triumph -
TRIUMPH
Triumph TR7 (Clutch Only)
Triumph TR7 16V (Clutch Only)
Triumph TR8 (Clutch Only)
This master Cylinder is different from the Spitfire / Herald, the rod is a different length, the thread for the pipe is different and the hole is bigger. See my other listing if you have a Herald / Spitfire.
NOTE: Don't buy the 'Fits Everything' Cylinder you'll see also listed on here for £20 -
The thread for the pipe is wrong, (Should be Metric) and it's a bigger diameter so you can't make it fit. The rod is the wrong length and it's connecting end is different. The angle of the reservoir should be sloped not upright.
Worryingly I've seen it also listed for the MGB & Austins etc which use Lockheed brakes (This is a Girling design), for cars that should have Tandem brakes with a servo attached and for others including a TVR where the bore is to small. Do you really want to take all day trying to make the wrong part fit?
