This auction is for a pair of custom made slam panel end panel/covers/infills to fit the ford focus MK2 facelift spec ST and RS variants. These have been made in the UK and are professionally stamped out using 3mm HD ABS plastic under ISO9001 quality control conditions. ABS plastic was designed for the automotive industry and as such is very robust but at the same time very flexible. These are produced from the same material. They are a CHROME/MIRRORED EFFECT in colour and have a protective plastic film over them that needs to be removed before fitting,  they are a cosmetic piece and simply slot into place to cover the gap between the cars headlights and slam panel, which can be seen when the bonnet is lifted. Don't buy cheaper vinyl covered foamex made items as foamex will absorb water to a degree over time and as the name suggests it is made from compressed foam, which is very easy to break and nowhere near as robust as HD ABS plastic, these are produced from virgin chrome/mirrored pigmented plastic and are not covered in vinyl, the coloured plastic is more expensive to buy and that's why they are slightly more expensive than the plain black version. These are great for when going to shows, meets etc and would look great with some graphics on them. Make no mistake, these are not a homemade/hand cut item. They are professionally stamped out using hydraulic/roller pressure.
