  • The map was distributed by the Humble Oil & Refining Company to promote its Esso brand. It is copyrighted © MCMLXX (1970) and dated 1970-71 in the legend. The code number on the back cover is W770.


  • The front cover artwork shows the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge linking Brooklyn and Staten Island.
