This auction is for a superb,hand produce vintage elegant wooden model of a traditional Chinese boat.

The last photo shows two sets of indistinct marks,possibly those of the maker,

Half of the boat has rattan covering,partly covering the inside "cabin" and above it is further rattan detail extending to the end of the boat.The front of the boat has rich colour patination and a mast that can be lowered.

It is quite possible that the boat is Chinese but I can not be certain of this.The alternative is that it is a European.

It has age but I can not be definitive about it's of creation.

Condition is very good,there is a piece that has become detached,Please view all 12 photos because I am not a practical person so I don't know where that piece is meant to go or indeed if any other parts are not present.
