You only need a dampened cloth to clean the surface, make sure you use a dry towel right afterwards to ensure the wood does not take in any water.
The TV board comes flat-packed with all necessary assembly materials included along with pictorial easy-to-follow step-by-step instructions. Most of the assembly material is made from metal to ensure a sturdy and secure structure.
