This fabulous black leather bag was made by Etra Handbag Company, likely in the late 1940s or early 1950s. Made from a supple black leather, it measures 19"L x 5"H. Fully lined in a silk grosgrain fabric, it fastens with a gold metal bar clasp. In very good condition for its age, we note some small digs to the leather at the frame, some very light scratching to the leather and some scratching and slight discoloration to the metal bar clasp. The interior shows some minor spotting (see image 7). Stamped ETRA.
