2 original recordings on 1 CD:

- Thunderbox ( 1974)
- Street Rats ( 1975)

Re-issue Mason Records 2005

2 on 1 for these later period Pie albums from 1974 & 75.The first "Thunderbox" with it's stormin' title track contains other goodies such as "No Way", "Rally with Ali", "Oh La De Dah" (Staples Singers) along with a great rendition of "Drift Away"(originally by John Henry Kurtz) all these cuts showcase Marriott's vocal prowess and the guitar duties of Clem Clempson. The second offering "Street Rats"(produced by Andrew Oldham) was a quirky collection of tracks, (including three Beatles covers). The band embarked on a "Farewell" tour, and called it a day soon after it's release- only to reform on two separate occasions in the early 80s. Essential stuff.
