Vintage set of 4 tiles - fishing scene
Glaze is fine and looks to be applied topically on bisque - edges are bisque - glaze is on tops only

Signature transfer is in center of bottom 2 panels

Tiles measure approx. 6" square each

Because these tiles are made by hand, there can be small variations to the sides each tile

About signed illustrator ( found online ) :
JC van Hunnik worked many years for Mulder & Son in Amsterdam (later called Mulder Holland). He made illustrations for plates, tiles, children's books, clouring books, serving trays, etc.
He also designed for Ter Steege in Nijverdal, The Netherlands.
Van Hunnik pictured fruit, cars, horses, birds, hot-air balloons, butterlflies, clowns, old Dutch images, windmills, tulip fields, etc. He also made portraits.
Children's books were illustrated by him ( "Mark en Mieke") and are said to have been widely read, and are these days still available at second hand book stores.
Research also finds that he illustrated 8 Stories by Aunt Lucille
Conflicting information saying he was active between early 1900 / 1950 and also the1800's.
