!!!  SWITCH ONLY -- DOES NOT INCLUDE HEATER.  PICTURES OF HEATER ARE FOR ILLUSTRATION PURPOSES  !!!

(Note: I normally send RED. I have a couple GREEN ones left, GREEN came in a few special model heaters. Most models came with RED. They are completely interchangeable. If you want GREEN let me know immediately after purchase)

This is a NEW HEAVY-DUTY REPLACEMENT POWER SWITCH for Vornado Vortex Electric Heater Models EH1- 0012, 0014, 0015, 0018, more. Not available through Vornado.

This switch fits the older-style EH1 heaters ONLY, the ones with the offset control panel (control pod sits to the right of center on the top, see pics). Newer model heaters have the control panel centered on the top, this switch will NOT fit those models.

Illuminated, Heavy-duty rated at 20 amps, CE agency approved, this switch perfectly replaces the original with no modifications needed.
These are great heaters, made in the USA and built to last, with only one weakness: the power switch. The power switch is prone to failure; if the heater stops working the problem is usually the switch. With the heater sitting upright, plugged in, with the power switch ON and the switch does not light up then the switch is probably defective.

Easy to replace. Unplug the heater before starting! The front of the heater comes off with the removal of 5 phillips-head screws. The switch easily snaps out with the help of a screwdriver from underneath the switch (inside the heater), depressing each side of the switch and pushing the switch up. The new switch snaps in. Switch has 4 standard 1/4" male spade quick-disconnect terminals on back and fits into hole opening approx 7/8" x 1-1/8".

STUDY MY PICTURES, MEASURE HOLE OPENING and CONFIRM WIRING TERMINAL STYLE IN YOUR HEATER BEFORE ORDERING SWITCH. I CAN"T POSSIBLY LIST ALL THE MODELS THIS SWITCH FITS, THERE WERE TOO MANY MADE.

(INSTALLATION HELP --- In case you forget how your old switch was wired after you remove it, should go like this: I'm looking at a EH1-0012, and will describe the switch wiring. Looking from the front and up (with the switch in the heater): Black wire Left Front, other Black wire Left Rear, Yellow wire Middle Front, White wire Middle Rear, no terminals on Right. Hope that helps :)
