For some reason GM spec'd out a belt that was barely short enough for the tensioner to do it's job.  Throw in a couple decades, add some miles, a little bit of belt stretch, and you've got a nerve wrecking chirp noise that can't be solved.

Once the turbo Regal specific tensioner runs out of spring preload, no amount of lube, replacement belts, or voodoo will shut it up.   With this belt, the tensioner gets enough preload to properly do it's job.

Notice on the engine compartment pictures the two different placements of the belt. The first picture is the "correct" belt on my personal GN. The second picture is with this shorter belt. Notice how close the belt is to the intercooler bracket.   The tensioner is now able to maintain tension and still have enough travel to avoid making a noise when it oscillates.

NOTE: Continental has purchased the Goodyear group of belts and has started using their own packaging on these belts.  The cardboard might not be an exact match but the belt will be the same.

SECOND NOTE:  Due to supply chain problems, I might have to send a Gates brand belt.  It will be the same quality and the same quality as I would never risk an expensive hood liner with a Chinese belt coming apart.

Shipping is for the first one and each additional spare ships for free.
