Every LED can be cut off, LED strip still working after it is cut. Cut it to the length you just need.
Adhesive
They(Only IP30, and IP65) have double sides adhesive tapes on the back. There is no double side tape on IP67, IP67 needs screws and clips to install. You can paste IP30/IP65 on the bookcase, TV, wine cabinet, ceiling, or windowsill easily.

The LEDs at the far end of the strip might be dimmer because of the added resistance and voltage drop that occurs during the current flows to that end of the strip. The solution is adding DC5V voltage every 16.4ft or 32ft according to the actual situation.
The LED strip is made by 50cm FPCB, so there is a solder point for each 50cm(1.6FT) strip. But this minor flaw has no bad effect on the strip's performance. In fact, ALL the LED strips on the market are manufactured in half-meter lengths.

Common problem
1. Why the end of the LED strip looks red or yellow when you light up maximum brightness White Light?
A1: It is better to add DC5V voltage every 16.4FT because the LEDs at the far end of the strip might be dimmer due to the added resistance and voltage drop that occurs as the current flows to that end of the strip.
2. Why do I light up a few LEDs?
A1: Please make sure you use the right power supply. For this LED strip, it is DC5V. Please don't use a DC12V power supply for it. It will burn this LED strip.
A2:The controller is defective. Please make sure the controller can work fine.
3. What are the functions of the two extra wires on two ends, one is white, one is red?
A1: They are used to connect the DC5V power supply when the LED strip is out of voltage. So we also call them voltage adding wires.
4. Can I connect them in series when I want to control 4 reels of them?
A1: Yes, they can end to end connect many reels.
