Cotton Tapestry Wall Hanging, 'William Morris Lion'

Sometimes referred to as the William Morris Lion tapestry this shows the lion with a fox and a hare, with the rich colours and beautifully layered composition a testament to the craftmanship of all the work produced by Morris & Co in the 19th century. The original is now in the Victoria & Albert Museum, London.
Wall tapestries are woven works of art with texture not found in any other art form. The combination of the thread colors and weaves creats a unique art experience. This tapestry is woven on jacquard loom, fully lined and finished with two rod pockets on the backside so you can hang it easily.
