After lots of requests for the medical alert bracelets, we're now pleased to say we have added these to the shop, and made sure they're suitable for all people with both sleep apnoea and sleep disordered breathing for different medical reasons - plus we have had them made in 6 sizes to suit everyone.

These bracelets are a way of helping us raise funds for our charity at the same time as providing important awareness of our condition.  However, we have had these made to a top specification and they are made to last!

Medical Alert Bracelets which, like the medical alert cards we also sell (on a separate listing), are an important way of alerting people (especially paramedics and hospitals) that when asleep or unconscious people with Sleep Apnoea, and those who use Non-invasive Ventilation due to other sleep disordered breathing conditions, stop breathing (or struggle to breathe), and consequently oxygen levels often dip.

They are made of 100% silicone rubber which ensures a smooth band with clean edges that we were assured will not fray or become brittle.  They are de-bossed with ink infill which is eco-friendly and they are washable.

We have 2 different versions of the bracelets and the wording right around the wristband reads:-

  1. Sleep Apnoea - Medical Alert

  2. Sleep Disordered Breathing - Medical Alert

IMPORTANT - These are made in the UK so this is NOT the USA spelling of 'Apnoea' so if you prefer you can select the 'Sleep Disordered Breathing' bracelet instead, although we are all used to the different spellings which mean the same thing!

The wording on the 2 options of bracelets reads:-
MEDICAL ALERT - Sleep Apnoea OR
MEDICAL ALERT - Sleep Disordered Breathing

There are 6 sizes of both versions of the bracelets:-

  1. 150 mm - Infant

  2. 180 mm - Child

  3. 190 mm - Youth/Small Wrist Adults

  4. 202 mm - Adult

  5. 210 mm - XL Adult

  6. 225 mm - XXL Adult

ONE bracelet is supplied with the option to select either Sleep Apnoea or Sleep Disordered Breathing.
