This is a 1956 Martin D-18 Serial #153515.

The guitar has had some repairs in it's life, but is currently in tip-top shape and sounds UNBELIEVABLE.

A rundown of the repairs....It has correct aged replacement tuners. The neck has very recently been reset, action is currently set at medium with lots of saddle left. It has been refretted and frets show almost no signs of wear at this time. There are a few minor cracks and 1 major one on the top side, lower bout. My luthier worked some kind of magic on it and the repair is incredible. There is also a very small rectangle that has been patched in on the top side. It also has a replacement Greven pickguard.

Although I can't be sure, and my luthier didn't do it, I would suspect the guitar has been lightly oversprayed as well.

I tried to show everything I could in the pictures. If there is anything else you'd like to see details of, please let me know.

Ok, now the good stuff... The guitar is solid as a rock. It's very light. It plays incredibly and sounds exactly as you would expect a vintage Martin to sound. I can tell you how great it is all day, but the best thing for me to do is send you sound clips...This guitar is that good!

It will ship in a non-original generic hard case.

That about covers it, please let me know if you have any questions, need soundclips, or more photos.

Thanks alot,
Johnny
