Vintage Sonor D-420 Snare Drum

Seamless Ferromanganese Shell 

Original throw off works well without slipping or play! 

From the research that I have done I believe the top hoop is original and the bottom hoop is not. It was common on these drums for the hoops to go out of round. 

Shell is in round and tunes nicely. Muffler works well 

All original slotted tension rods 

The snare wires are not original 

Overall the drum is very clean. There are some light scratches and scuffs on the shell. Also some minor signs of pitting/rust on parts of the hardware. Please see all zoomed in photos
