This is an opportunity to purchase a Rare Polaroid Image Elite Instant Camera with Light Lock Close-Up Lens - Tested and Working.

 Some minor cosmetic wear to the camera (mainly the base) but otherwise in excellent condition - the Light Lock Close-Up Lens is in excellent condition.



The Polaroid Image Elite dates from 1995 and forms part of their series of "Aerodynamic" high performance, Spectra Film, instant cameras. It has an all black body with a grey control panel, a cool pop up front and was one of Polaroids most popular models. This design saves space and provides perfect protection for the fragile parts of the camera such as the viewfinder, lens and flash.

 


It has a f/10 125mm coated lens with self-timer and is simple to use with an advanced, sonar autofocus system (with option to turn off), automatic exposure, electronic flash and sound (with optional OFF switches) and a lighten/darken control. There is a ready-light indicator, a counter window to indicate how many photos are remaining in the cartridge and a remote control option. 



There is a Distance/Grid Size chart on top of the camera for use with the Light Lock Lens. This alone makes it a relatively rare Polaroid camera.




The viewfinder and lens are clear and clean with no marks, scratches or fungus, it has a Velcro hand grip on the user's left hand side and a neck strap. 



Its higher build quality and larger format prints (9.2 x 7.3cm images) gives great results. It uses instant, Image and Spectra film which is still made by "The Impossible Project". 



Comes with a Polaroid Light Lock Close-up Lens which allows you to take photographs as close as 10". It easily attaches to the front of the camera and lets you take pictures that are 50% the size of the actual object (½ - 1). There are two ways of focusing - the system has two light beams that form a single point at 10" or you can use the built-in 10" measuring cord to get a perfectly focused close-up photo. 



This lens is usually used in general business, law enforcement, health care, insurance investigations and manufacturing to get high quality instant close-up photos. It uses 2xAA batteries (not included).

 


Has been tested with an empty film/battery unit (not included) and everything operates correctly including the flash.



Uses Spectra/Image film or Impossible process packs (not included).



Comes complete with Original Packaging and Instructions for the Close-Up Lens plus a neck strap for the camera.



It is ideal for lomography, street photography or travel - for anyone who just wants to point and shoot.
