Deckhand Tool
The Deckhand takes the hassle out lining your decking screws in a straight line. Simple, easy and effective and cost efficient. A must have for anyone building a deck. Two Deckhands included so two decking installers can work simultaneously.
It features individual holes to place your fittings so that each section of decking has even and consistent placement of screw across your whole deck.

The Deckhand is designed for use as a template and guide for the installation of all types and widths of decking. It is specifically manufactured to be used in conjunction with standard size bearers and joists of 45mm width.
The Deckhand comes with three pre-drilled holes 15mm from the spacer edge, but three more have to be drilled to suit the width of the decking that is being installed.
For example: If 90mm wide decking is being installed, then 3 holes have to be drilled using a 3.5mm drill 75mm (90mm minus 15mm) from the spacer edge. The grooves provide a guide for the drill
