Up for sale is a 1 copper-plate engraving titled "LUTHIER, SUITE DE L'ORGUE, SOUFLET, BASCULES BRISEES. PORTE VEN DE BOIS, FER A SOUDER" - (LUTHIER, FOLLOWING THE ORGAN, UNDER, BROKEN DOWNS. DOOR WIND WOOD. WELDING IRON) (??).  Engraved by Benard Direxit. 

This engraving came from the book:  "Encyclopédie, ou Dictionnaire Raisonné des Sciences, des Arts et des Métiers, par une société de gens de lettres"  Published in Paris between 1751 and 1777.

It is one page that measures approximately 9" x 12", including the border area.  The plate image is approximately 6 1/4" x 9 1/2".  It is blank on the reverse side.

Overall, it is in Good Condition.  There is some wear, browning and spotting.  There are also some stains.  There are holes down the left edge from where it was originally bound in the dictionary.  Some light pencil writing in the border.  Nicks & Chips along the edges.
