This following Review from Motor Trend is for the FS Evolution, it is similar in performance as this FS

When Porsche's design studio decides to go after a marketplace, it rarely fails to impress. Such was the case when it released the FS Evolution mountain bike. The bike pictured here is that model. Suspension is adjustable both front and rear.  The forks are motorcycle-inspired upside-down design, delivering a staggering 140mm of wheel travel. The price tag weighs in at $10,612.

While the S (for "suspension") and the FS ("full suspension") models slipped quietly onto the scene last summer, the debut of its tour de force FS "Evo" model this year underscores Porsche's desire to expand its brand recognition. By offering the bikes through Neiman Marcus catalogs, Porsche dealerships and Porsche Design stores, the company hopes to sell about 1000 of these two-wheeled wunders this year. None is merely rebadged from a different manufacturer-all were designed at Porsche AG in Weissach, Germany, where a full 20 percent of Porsche's revenue is derived from designing products other than automobiles.

The specifications of the FS Evo bike are like those of a Formula One race car. The front suspension is a motorcycle-inspired design of inverted fork tubes rebounding via closed-cell elastomeric springs and coil springs located by composite double-triple clamps; the rear suspension is adjustable through an oil/air shock absorber; the wheels are made of carbon fiber; and the brakes are fully hydraulic discs squeezing cross-drilled rotors. Gear changes (27 are available) are made via top of the line Sachs Quartz shifters, derailleurs, and Carbon Fiber cranks while state-of-the-art Hope Disc Brakes claw at the decidedly low-tech dirt.

Riding the FS Evo at a pace or on a trail described as anything less than at-the-limit won't show you what this bike is all about. How does it handle? Like a Porsche. How do the brakes work? Like a Porsche. Compared to other full-suspension mountain bikes we've ridden, the Porsches feel far more precise, stable, and confident in any potential road-rash situation. Where other bikes tend to track the terrain, with the grooves, sand, or small rocks forcing the steering to go the way the ground dictates, the FS Evo has an amazing ability to manage this dangerous tendency, nearly eliminating what in car terms is called "bump steer." Several of the professional riders at the press introduction noticed that the Evo had an ability to save their backsides when they least expected it-when a rut in the dirt grabs a front tire and a different bike would've tossed its rider into the cactus as fast as you could say "prickly pear," the Evo merely rolls over the obstacle with a minimum of drama and the near emergency is over before you know it. I heard, "This bike saved my butt," more than once on the trail.

Here are a few questions we get often

Are these New 2017 bikes?

NO 99% of the bikes we offer are vintage from late 1980-2000’s, they may appear new because we strive for truly mint survivors of this era.

Do you buy vintage mountain bikes?

YES, if they are mint/ or near mint, please Call, Text or email us with the brand, size, model, color of your bike. Contact

How can you tell if a bike has LOW Miles or use?

One quick way is to look at the. Crank arms, brake, shifters & levers, and see if the original name are still shows there, grips, saddle are good to check too , but the often get changed out by a owners personal preference.

When someone tell you this bike has had only 2 -3 short rides in its lifetime, it better not have any major scuffs on the crank arms and brand name should still be clearly on the shifters/brake levers.

We go out of our way to acquire mint bicycles and pay top dollar for them.
