 This is one of the annual Christmas dated editions for 2001,  issued in an open edition. 

With a scene of Santa on the lid with his sack of toys surrounded by Christmas motifs of holly and berries and candles and golden swags.

More motifs and assorted toys decorate the base.

The inside lid is dated with Christmas 2001 beneath a full colour scene of toys and holly and berries.

 Measuring 1.5 inches 4 cm across with a gilded hinged mount. 

 In excellent undamaged condition overall, fully basestamped with Staffordshire Enamels and signed by the artist, with presentation case.

Please note a slight looseness of the hinge when lid is fully opened.  It is fine when snapped shut.
