I am relisting this with a few measurements to help any lookers, buyers. I was out of town so sorry if i didn't respond quick enough to any of you. the measurements all is looking for. Armpit to armpit is approx 20 " Bottom of collar to bottom of jacket is 41", top of shoulder to other shoulder is 19".  Apparently this is a first Lieutenants transportation troops jacket, usually very warm jacket,yet- not a general, thank you all for the help. I hope this helps!

I purchased this from an elderly man who said this was purchased on a trade from his grandfather over the East Western German wall many years ago. He really didn't want to discuss the trade so I dropped the conversation.  I confirmed the coat came from Germany when I returned home and found a postal receipt in the pocket from Munster Germany to his house in Antioch Il. This will come with the jacket. The Jacket appears to never have been worn, no damage, smell , holes, wear, rips or discoloration. Has 10 gold buttons, 3 gold stars on each shoulder, 2 gold emblems on the collar badges. Has inner pocket .Very ornate and super heavy. I haven't found any tags. Please look at the photos, I try to describe the best I can, I have 100 percent positive feedback for a reason. no reserve, Tell me if I've made shipping easy for you shipping method. V.A.T. taxes applied to international buyers responsibly. Great collectible jacket-great price- good luck
