A Pocket Guide to Japan, 1950 Armed Forces Info & Education

This fascinating guide describes the history, geography and customs of the Japanese people. It discusses the changes after WWII, and what the serviceman might expect while stationed in Japan in 1950. It is a great little book for anyone wanting to learn about post WWII Japan. It also lists commonly used phrases, phonetically spelled, in Japanese.

The booklet is in good condition. It measures 4-1/4 inches by 5-1/4 inches and has 78 pages. The staple area shows minor rust stains (see photo). If you get really close, there is a slight musty smell from this 60+ year old booklet. The fold out map is missing.
