Glass Bacchantes Art Deco Vase by Frantisek Halama from Zelezny in Northern Bohemia.
From glass that was made by hand from prewar original Antique Molds of the 1930's. A limited edition Frantisek Halama Czechoslovakian blue frosted crystal vase with female nudes. This vase presents an octagonal form ringed with standing female nudes in low relief. It is marked 495 in an edition of 2500 to the underside, and signed “FH”.
He is known for producing art deco glass of the highest quality. Four generations of the family have done this and have won high honors in Paris competitions of art and mechanics.
