Maisto Tailwinds first appeared in Walgreens stores as toys for pegboard hanger sales. Walmart picked up the brand and made custom low budget versions under the Kidconnection Budget line as well. Several series under different names, such as Fresh Metal have come and gone and there seems to be a list of about 78 models featuring Airplanes and Helicopters. Finding a full set under one name is very hard because I am not sure Maisto even releases a full set as shown on the backs of some of the packages. I had at one time back in 2005 the whole set except for one helicopter and I called Maisto and they gave me the runaround. Saying they produce in random batches and could not tell me where this certain helicopter might be in stock. I used to carry a small printed spreadsheet of all the units I had and would go on road trips visiting every Walgreens in many cities trying to get to the last item. My dream was to give the complete set to my son. I had many duplicates and would let my son open and play with them as he was interested. You might be able to build a full set if you mix and match the placard brands. Just focus on getting all of the known listed planes and helicopters. The problem today with pricing on ebay is the cost of shipping, Diecast models are heavy and postage is not cheap. These days, if you see what looks like a good deal, almost always the shipping is as much as the item is selling for. I am offering free shipping on these models.
