Following the popular figures of the 1960's, the Fontanini family expanded their line of nativities made from molds.  In the 1970's, they produced a line of polymer nativity figures that replicated some of the Fontanini designs of the 50's.  These were numbered and marked with a "fountain" mark representing the famous fountains of ITALY.  They were advertised as "unbreakable" models of the earlier popular paper mache figures.  They are not easy to find.  This is the small 4" set.  They are numbered, marked ITALY, and marked with the trademark "fountain"... see photos.  This set consists of:

Baby Jesus... marked 702, ITALY, "Fountain"
Virgin Mary... marked 81, ITALY, "Fountain"
Joseph... marked 79, ITALY, "Fountain"
King Gaspar of Sheba... marked 84, ITALY, "Fountain"
