I am relisting this auction that I accidently ended on January 9th.  I apologize to all of the eBay members who either bid on the that auction or had it on their watch list, and invite all to renew your interest in this auction which has not been altered in any way from the original auction.

This late 1940’s to early 1950’s vintage ANGELUS Chronodato is not in running condition and is sold “as is” for parts or repair only.

Although this watch does not run after being wound, the balance wheel spins freely.  The movement sometimes starts running by gently shaking it in its upside down position and will run for several seconds to several minutes.  While it is running, the second’s hand, chronograph sweeper hand, and the minute recorder function correctly. When returning the watch to an upright position, it sometimes stops running but the chronograph hands reset correctly by depressing the bottom pusher.

The movement does not appear to be dirty and I do not see any obviously missing or broken parts but I am not a watchmaker do not know what is causing the watch to malfunction.  I am therefore selling the watchas is” in non-working condition for parts or repair.

The gold filled case is in very good condition with no major dings, dents or scratches.

The dial is in very good condition with no scratches, stains or patina.

The gold hands have no flaws or signs corrosion.

Thank you for your interest in my watches and be sure to take a look at the other great watches that I have listed on eBay.
