Up for bids is a nice old clarinet from a local estate. It is quite old and was purchased from the estate of the original owner. It looks to be in good shape, but has not been used in many years, so might need service. I do not play. All the wood parts are marked with the Buffet Crampon Paris seal. They look good. The bell has some tight hairlines which have been treated on the interior. Most do not go through to the exterior. The other wood parts look to be in nice condition. The case looks pretty old. 1940s 0r 50s? Nice old clarinet from a great maker. Thanks for looking.

I have found the serial number. It is a four digit number. Looks  like 1926? It's pretty hard to make out. This would put this instrument in the 1920s. Have added a picture of the serial number.
