All the pans are artist quality not student. They are marked Winsor and Newton on the base of the pans.

Two of the pans are Rowney and also artist quality.

The pans are held in by to long clips so can be replaced or moved around in the box.

The centre well which is for brushes has three cakes of paint in it.

The tin has a thumb ring on the bottom and a section for a tube of paint, normally white.

There is also a fold out mixing tray as well as wash wells in the lid.

It is all new and unused and I would describe the tin exterior as slightly shop soiled.

My best guess is the tin was purchased empty and filled with the artists own selection.

Why it was never used I have no idea.
