Product Description

Ambrosia of Immortality or Tirtha Amertha is a rarely seen episode from the Mahabharata, the great Hindu myth cycle. The Tirtha Amertha story is a cornerstone of the Hindu culture, both as a creation myth and a story of the gods' coming of age, as they gain immortality and subsequently rise above the world of demons. War is raging in the heavens between the gods, who have it all, and the demons who want it back. Together they must churn the Milky Ocean to create the elixir of immortality. The gods and demons succeed at this epic test of faith but then things go wrong as they struggle for the possession of the powerful ambrosia. Ambrosia of Immortality is the culmination of the twenty-year friendship between shadow master Larry Reed and the renowned Balinese Dalang I Wayan Wija.

About CD-R and DVD-R Media

CD-Rs and DVD-Rs (the "R" stands for "recordable") look like the discs you're used to and offer the same audio and image quality. This recordable media is used to manufacture titles on demand, as fully authorized by the content provider.

Through manufacturing on demand, the manufacturer is able to offer music and video content that might not otherwise be available. Each disc comes fully packaged, with artwork, in a standard Amaray case, although for reissued products the artwork may differ from the original.

The studio works with many of the leading music labels, television networks, film studios, and other distributors to make these titles available to its customers. All products are manufactured from original source materials (e.g., for audio products, uncompressed CD-quality audio).

By eliminating inventory, waste, and inefficiencies in the distribution system, on-demand manufacturing provides the added benefit of helping preserve the environment.

When shopping, you'll see CD-R or DVD-R on the product detail page for such products.
